To communicate sexuality—When Ethics is not enough

Abstract

The following essay proposes an approach -through bibliographical review, observation and descriptive analysis - to bioethics as a tool to promote the journalistic construction of topics associated with health, sexuality and sexual rights in the Cuban mass media. This is based on the premise that these topics require a more recurrent presence and a deeper approach in the national media scene, which, in turn, needs to incorporate other perspective(s) to face the ethical dilemmas that arise around the communicative production of issues of this nature.
